citizen card 16-17 age band as proof of age at 18 if i am 18?

i need a proof of age for my 18th birthday could i use a 16-17 citizen card till my 18+ card gets issued?

Hi, you should be able to use your 16-17 card until you receive your 18+ card because the card still has your name, DoB and your photograph on it. If you are worried about accessing a particular establishment with the 16-17 card it may be helpful to contact the venue to ensure the acceptance of the card. Hope this helps.
