Christians, do you think homosexuality can be cured?

It is a fact that when straight men go to prison for a long time, most of them resort to homosexuality to satisfy their urge and end up liking it. Is it possible that if gay men went to prison with women only, and each gay man had no contact with another man, only women, the opposite effect would occur?

Very nice answer Charlie, calm, collected, and without any attacks or anger. I respect that. Something I can't even do myself.

Human sexuality is very fluid I think, in certain circumstances arise or if curiosity takes over or if someone is very very DRUNK....they may act on sexual feelings with someone of the same or opposite gender.

I personally don't think being gay is something you're born with, but I also don't think that it's something you consciously choose either. No one really knows for sure how or why someone becomes gay or straight or bi. And this is coming from someone who is gay.

I don't it really matters how in the end anyways, you like the gender(s) you like, that's just how it is.

It Can only be cured as will all sin, By washing it away through the Soul Saving Blood of Jesus, as with all Sin,The fact that each person ever born possesses a sin nature is verified by human experience and the Word of God. The good news is that Christ provides a way of conquering the inherited sin nature and a victory that can be experienced both in this life and the next. No matter how bad off the person is, Jesus can defeat the sin that enslaves him. As John Calvin put it, “For certainly, Christ is much more powerful to save than Adam was to ruin.”

If you put a penis into a tight area (an *** hole, for instance), the person will probably feel pleasure. This doesn't mean they are attracted to men and other penises or that would like to enter a long-standing relationship with others of the same gender.

In prison, the vast majority of this sexual activity is to exert control and power over other inmates.

Many Christians do believe homosexuality can be cured.

I think there are latent homosexual abilities in a lot more than what society is able to accept. The societies I am familiar with want to deny this, but I see it as yet another way society does evil to people. The view of the "straight" tendency as the norm won out.

I'm a Bisexual Christian, and I see that I'm a sinner, and would be a sinner whether I was Bisexual or not. I think that when God takes the sin nature away from me, I'll be asexual. Not heterosexual. So whatever "natural" is, we tend not to be that, but we have a tendency to justify things as we are infected with "the knowledge of Good and Evil", it makes our view of right and wrong arbitrary.

Perfect love has no homosexuality to even cure.

1Corinthians 13:5
Perfect love "thinketh no evil",
neither to punish nor to cure.

Luke 13:32 is so yesterday, and still not yet perfect.
Can we move on, from doing cures is not perfected.

2Timothy 3:1 is still peril us. So, can we move on,
from last days of time past/last days is also peril us.

Broad/Narrow is still "double minded", and
is "unstable" both "ways" of such men-ality.

So there's "a more excellent way" above to "go on unto",
which is neither broad mindead -nor- narrow mindead;
For spiritual wickedness occurs in both of high places.
