Is the only real option for a bad answer to report it now that thumbs down is unavailable?
Just that simple. If we can't indicate a defective, misleading, or even potentially dangerous answer with thumbs down, is the best remaining option to report them all?

We have no real option . Our option has been removed . If you don't like someone's answer , TOUGH. So say our Overlords at Y/A..............................................
Yes, but THINK BEFORE you hit the "Submit" button on the form, because if you are falsely reporting the answer just because do not like or don't agree with that particular answer, AND the account wins the appeal, YOU will LOSE reporting credibility with Yahoo. Double or triple check that the answer really does violate the community guidelines BEFORE you click the "Submit" button on the report form.
Funny but I get the old system below answers, thumbs up or thumbs down starting today. Yesterday it was the new nonsense. Every time YA staff does maintenance or so called upgrades they screw up.
Thumbs down and reporting are not the same. You can not report a wrong answer unless you are certain it was done on purpose in order to harm someone. Thumbs down was for any answer you disagreed with or did not like.
