Who Else Is Abandoning Carrie Underwood?

Well. She blew it. Carrie Underwood is now supporting gay marriage. I originally thought she was just a pretty, honest country girl. No more buying her stuff. It's really sad what being a celebrity can do to you. What do you think?

I lost a lot of respect for her. Especially because I thought she was one of the few genuine Christians left in this world. I still like her music and she is very talented and I won't let her ignorance effect me listening to her and neither should anyone else, but I just wish if she was gonna back her statement up with scripture, she would actually read it first. Just my humble opinion. God bless! :)

What I don't get is Toby Keith came out for it a few years back and nobody said squat about it.I guess they have this Christian image of Carrie even though she is often scantily clad and sings songs about getting drunk, marrying a stranger in Vegas, then smashing his truck up.Like someone else said, people just like to pick and choose from the bible.Go all the way with it,or don't go at all.

I'm not for gay marriage for no other reason than the thought of it makes me wanna puke. The Bible has nothing to do with that, lol

i like her, i latterly sang 'Jesus Take the Wheel' at church and have been given many compliments and many, "i like that music, i'm so happy you sang it." She is the main gifted American Idol so far, something are hacks, different than possibly Kelly Clarkson. surely, i did not understand she became into an American Idol, once I first heard her, i've got not seen that instruct as a results of fact the 1st season.

It makes my respect of her go down, but I'm not going to stop listening to her music. I don't believe in gay marriage, but if someone else does, I'm not going to force them to believe otherwise or abandon them.

i was never a fan of her music, (with the exception of "Cowboy Casanova"). she's definitly not striving to follow Christianity with her outward action. however, homosexuality isn't the single worse way of disobeying the New Covenant law and if she's going to be singled out, then all of the other country singers out there whom have sung about things like getting down and drunk may as well be singled out as well. one way of disobeying the New Covenant law is as equal as another. homosexuality is equal to things like drunkenness, extortioning, revelries, adultry, murder, thievery and idolatry. so yeah, based on the context, if the "no more buying her music" is going to be applied to her, then we may as well stop buying any of Tracy Byrd's, Gary Allan's, Rick Trevino's (and for the fans of newer country), Jason Aldean's, and Justin Moore's music. Christians have a reputation of picking and choosing what to follow and believe, and honestly, it's not worth it to be another step to further backing that claim up
