I guess the only person Manny should listen in his own conscience, not her mom or the church or the government or the people in his own camp or trainer. Who is fighting in the ring? Is it her mom or the church or the government or the trainer or the people in his entourage? No. At the end of the day, Manny is still lingering the thought of retiring someday soon or much sooner than we expected. We just have to wait for his announcement.

Manny is the very person who can answer this question with strong conviction not us or the church or her own mother. Like all boxing expert would say, every boxer has to retire. Whether he likes it or not or we like it or not. Boxers have more wear and tear compare to us who are not boxers. After their retirement is when they realized there is already something wrong with his liver or his skull or his body etc. Right now Manny do not feel anything unusual because he is still in his peak of things but we all be succumb with time. Time is our worst enemy. Manny is not definitely growing young each and every day but growing older and slower as the time goes on.

For me, I think it is time to hang those gloves after the November fight between him and Bradley. After he give it all and win over Bradley TKO. Whatever he decides to do, he should not make it public. He found out how the press can twist things around just for the sake of selling a story. He should be careful of the public statements he makes, especially in English. His English is not that well polished that he can speak without thinking. People will bait him just for a story.
