Is this normal (tattoo advice)?

Hey guys, need some tattoo advice. 

Just got a tattoo 2 days ago (similar to the one in this picture: http://i48.tinypic.com/27ypu2v.jpg ) and i'm very happy with it.

However.. I just started noticing that the the small areas of non-inked skin, between the lines where they get very close to eachother/almost meet, are also a bit darker, as if the color of the two lines are trying to "connect" underneath the skin. The lines are completely sharp everywhere else on the tattoo, so i'm not sure if it's a blow-out.

Anyone have any idea if this is part of the initial healing process, or shades from the wound, or simply a blowout?

That doesn't sound too good, I a suggest you call or visit a professional tattooist and ask them.

Sight unseen, it's hard to say. Your artist can always blend a little flesh tone to match your own skin tone, and touch up around it, after it's healed up good, if it is. A blowout looks like a bruise on the tattoo. It happens when the ink goes past the dermis, and hits the fat layer just underneath, and spreads. It does it in a few short hours after getting the tattoo, and it usually happens where the skin is very thin. The tops of the shoulders, and backs of the hands and fingers are common areas where it's particularly susceptible. Hope that's not the case with yours. Could simply be bruising from the skin trauma, sure hope so.
