I have a compaq presario cq60 I dropped it today the screen works fine when its starting up but when I'm suppose to login it goes black and stays there. I tried removing battery and starting on safemode what else can I do

Personally, I would want to make sure the computer is working out okay. I would plug your laptop into an external display, whether it be a monitor with a VGA connector, or using an HDMI and plugging it into and HD TV. If the laptop runs fine using the external display, then the built-in display is most likely damaged, but if the black screen keeps popping up, even with the external display, your laptop has a hardware issue.

Hold F8 key while booting your laptop and select " Enable VGA Mode..................Try that
