What's the best use for 3 feet of 18-wheeler, tire tread that my car has decided to drag home from the freeway?

Well, if you got to get rid of a tree, wait until the winter comes, and there is about a foot of snow covering the ground. Then, get a bunch tires, pile them around the base, pour on some diesel fuel, and light. Burn that tree off. But, just fair warning, that is about the most redneck way of getting rid of a tree. I still can't believe it worked.

but be warned- tire fires are dangerous. The more you try to put them out, the worse they get.

Keep checking the roads for other leftovers. You already have the first piece, might as well go all the way and build yourself an 18-wheeler.

Train your car to stop bringing home stray tire scraps. However, you could put the piece to good use by making sandals and turning it into a cottage industry.

Cut them up and attach them to the bottom of some old shoes. Then you can wear those shoes in the show, or trails and can be confident that you won't slip due to the extra traction!
