Has anyone taken part in their local VBS this summer?

I was excited to pray with 2 children today. They asked Jesus into their hearts. They admitted they were sinners and acknowledged that Jesus died on the cross to pay for their sins. They asked for Jesus to save them and HE DID. What a wonderful day! God is good.

Ashley... we are planning on baptising them as well, we will meet with their parents, talk a little more with the children, they want their family present when they are baptized. I believe though that anyone who confesses Jesus as their Lord is saved, we follow it with baptism as Christ Himself was baptized. It is a symbol of a change, as the old self, is gone and the new self with Christ living with them is alive!

Christian Sinner... cover it with prayer, have fun, and focus on sharing the good news! They are a hand full, but well worth it.

That's coming up. I'll be teaching and guiding the 5th graders. It's new for me, but I'll have a VBS veteran and beloved friend helping me.

Yes. I was with the Kindergarten/1st Graders. Love that group.

Were the kids baptized? Just wondering... I know some groups don't.
Mark 16:16
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Wow. What a wonderful woman you are. Shackling children with having to cope with the psychological pressure of being nothing but a miserable sinner. I hope the children survive this trauma and you should carefully consider whether you are fit to be a responsible parent in future.

We haven't had ours yet, although I helped with the preparation for it this week.

Man, I had no idea Visual Basic had so many religious connotations.
