Am I a troll? Honest opinions please?

I've asked a few questions the past week and have gotten some negative comments on them. I think I'm just being honest... maybe a few are me venting too much... They're all real questions though... (except for the last one listed... that was a bit of a joke...)

Someone even claimed what I was doing was "despicable"...

Am I really a troll for asking these questions?

Why thank you... I'll go live under a bridge now.

I would rather not be actually... what about these questions make them trollish? I want to be honest about things...

Lol the last one was hilarious. No you are not a troll unless you are trying to be. If you have serious questions then you are not a troll.

That bottom question was definitely not genuine and was just an insulting rant.

A troll is a person who is "trolling for comments" deliberatley asking inflamatory questions with a view to subvert the point of the forum. If you are asking a few questions from time to time in order to satisfy your curiosity and improve your knowledge then that isn't trolling.

They're valid questions, but they will make a bunch of people upset. Eh, embrace it. Now go over to cats and ask why cat collecting isn't in the most recent DSM yet.

You'll rarely get serious answers to those concerns here. The overall intelligence levels here are pretty low, juvenile and uninformed.

I've seen the term troll before but I'm not quite sure what it means.
