I'm installing a camera on the windshield that records when powered up so I need a switched power wire near the rear view mirror. I can't find a service manual for this car so I need to know if there is a switched wire in the wiring harness where the top interior lights are and how to remove the plastic to get to it. Thank you!

Why don't you wire it to the reverse gear power it comes from j519 on board power control unit on right hand front it's under the steering wheel its much more covinent so that when you select reverse the camera works if I had a vin number I could tell you the exact wire terminal number and color
