Ask a Hillary supporter from 2008 who was railroaded by the Obama campaign or Bill Clinton who supported welfare reform and had success with his Republican Congress and they will tell you there is a clear difference.

I'm an independent who sees them as the same. I will vote for Obama again and if Hillary every runs, I'll vote for her.
edit: I WAS a Hillary supporter in 2008 and in the end, she and Obama want the same things for this country. Those things are the exact opposite of what the republicans want

EDIT: Their platforms were virtually identical. Hilary Clinton is Obama's Sec of State. I doubt she would have accepted if they were as far apart as you claim.
