Why are there suddenly uniformed Army personnel in my VERY rural village? And neighboring villages?

Once in a while, in the next major town (30 miles away) we'll see the blue uniformed personnel because there's a base there. However, unless someone is deploying we've NEVER had men in uniform here. These are villages of 800-1200 people. They are in huge 15 passenger us government vans. What gives?

There's NOTHING around here. We're in the middle of no where in NY near VT. There's bases up north and a base in the next town and the capital. It's digital camo, definitely looks like Army and not the other branches.

Maybe they are using a rural area near your village as a training scenario? or maybe they are having some kind of meeting or event at a hall or hotel in your village? Those are just guesses. If you are really concerned or curious just call the military base and ask, they may or may not be able to tell you.

If you are in Montana you probably have a bunch of extremists in the town and the whole town is about to be blown away. You did post this under the USA, right?

Probably on the way to the next town.

It's probably just a National Guard unit conducting part of its monthly training. You know that one weekend a month thing they do.
