People say there is a lot of possibilities, but to be honest, getting someone like Ric Flair, Steve Austin, or some other legend might not be as easy as it sounds, a lot of these guys have moved on from WWE, and are doing other things!
Aj is there every week, she is unpredictable, and I she is over with the crowd, people like her!

I completely agree with the second answer. Many people don't understand that Vince can't just summon anyone to be GM and make them fly everywhere they go
Plus, AJ is "over" with the crowd and has plenty of fans

In Kayfabe it's an odd choice, in reality it makes total sense, AJ is really over but the divas division is on it's knees so she is best used in a non wrestling role.
