Atheists, why do you continue to embarrass yourselves by asking for scientific proof of God?
Do you really not understand that God has the same attributes as the ultimate and most unimaginable concept in science? Has Science explained everything there is and can ever be known in the history of existence? No. Is it getting close? No. Is there certainty that one day it will at least get close? No. There is only faith, and this faith and faith in God are the same thing. God is at the end of the journey.
So why do you constantly push this question and base your position, which you treat more like a religion, on it? Do you not see how fruitless and empty everything about your position is? Do you not see that it is a position based on ego, uncaring and selfishness, but nothing that relates to truth?

Why do you keep posting to make Chrsitianity such a laughingstock?!!
Anti atheism is doing so much damage to Christianity that it is in reality anti Christianity – David Manley
It takes in reality only one to make a quarrel. It is useless for the sheep to pass resolutions in favour of vegetarianism, while the wolf remains of a different opinion. - William Ralph Inge.
Why so blind to what causes the backlash against christianity?
ALL the other religions and atheists live in peace and are ONLY attacked by BAD christians which causes all GOOD christians to despair at the damage they do!
Up until about 40 years back Christianity was thriving and there was no conflict with others but in just those few short years the modern christians have become intolerant, hate filled, bigoted and persecuting resulting in a growing backlash against christianity and causing christianity to loose over ten percent in less than a decade with the loss accelerating!
The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only thing that can stop it is to abandon the terrible human emotions, seek to rediscover the idea of a loving god and act like it!
Posts like yours that drive people further away from God are driving you towards hell.
So who are you working for the devil or the antichrist because it sure ain't the loving god!
Yeah, atheists. Why do you keep asking for scienfitic evidence of invisible vampires? Don't you know they don't hvae the same attributes as the ultimate and most unimaginable concept in science?
Anyway...
"Has Science explained everything there is and can ever be known in the history of existence? No."
It's not the aim of science to explain everything right away, but to discover more as we advance. Science is a work in progress, flexible and open. Religion is arrogant and stubborn, unwilling to accept new facts.
"Is it getting close? No."
So I should just believe in a god then? No, I don't think so. You seem to be hinting at a god of gaps. I'd rather keep to cautious skepticism than jump to conclusions.
"There is only faith, and this faith and faith in God are the same thing. God is at the end of the journey."
What makes your god more believable than any other god? If what you're proposing is that I accept god, then am I allowed to accept Odin?
"So why do you constantly push this question and base your position, which you treat more like a religion, on it?"
It's kind of hard to treat something based on hard facts like something based on faithful conjecture.
"Do you not see how fruitless and empty everything about your position is?"
No, I see that you're unable to produce scientific evidence and probably feel insecure about it.
"Do you not see that it is a position based on ego, uncaring and selfishness, but nothing that relates to truth?"
Right, my understanding that the world and the universe was not made specifically for humanity is selfish. Okay...
On the one hand I am a believer. On the other hand, what I've seen done in the name of religion, I've found hard to stomach ( H.M. Forces Veteran ) .
As compelling and riveting as some folk are when talking about God et al, I often am left wondering if they are dealing from a short deck. In that, them believing is fair enough. Never once have I ever seen such folk put a cogent argument or, proof to substantiate their beliefs. Which is what they are, beliefs.
They can no more prove God's existence, than Richard Dawkins can do the contrary. In saying that, I do find some of what Richard Dawkins says of some interest. When he speaks, he speaks clearly, not as if he has been brainwashed.
I'd listen to any Christian but they all end up quoting the Bible.
I'm happy, that you are happy. I'm not happy having such stuff rammed down my throat.
I don't even waste my breath or energy asking for proof. I haven't seen anything to make me even want to believe in an invisible entity that allegedly created the planetand all the people and the animals. The ideal is so crazy so I couldn't believe it when I was 9 years old-- why would I even consider it now over 50 years later? It is such a lot of smoke and mirrors to keep the common man in line. I am an atheist - and damn proud of it-- and I know the difference between right and wrong. I do right because it feels good.
We are simply making the point that there is no reason to believe in something when there is absolutely nothing to go on it. Science is not about claiming to know all, but about being the best method of seeking truth and growing intellectually as a species.
You don't even understand truth. Why should a person who misunderstands truth be an authority on what it means? Truth contains evidence and you have none. That is why we ask you for evidence so that you will realise you have none and honestly admit you don't know the truth.
