Is it legal to charge more for a color shirt than a plain white shirt?

I don't mind paying for the things I want, but I don't like being taken advantage of. I just want to know is it legal to charge more for a shirt with color than a plain white shirt. I went to buy school uniforms and they had an advertised sale for three uniforms for 64.00, so I purchased them but when I got to the register the guy told me that he was charging me 1.00 extra dollar because one of the shirts was red. It was not in the advertisment. Then he showed me some sign somewhere else in the store that said "women color shirts 1 dollar extra. Well that still should not have made a difference because the person I was shopping for is 15 years old. I don't know no where in the world that 15 is considered a woman. Also there is this corner up the street from me wants to charge me an extra quarter just for using my debit card. I don't think that's legal either. You should be able to pay for just the stuff that you are purchasing. No matter how large or small. So I ask, is any of this legal. I know this is a small amount, but think of all the people that they are doing this to. The are making a killing and not even earning it. Only serious answers please..NO POINT SEEKERS. Best answer gets 10 points. Need answers ASAP. I am tired of being ripped out. Is this the reward I get for being a loyal consumer. Times are hard enough without people coming along and trying to squeeze every dime out of you that they can. Well I am sick of it...Please help me put an end to this.

If u are not going to take this serious please don't respond cause I have no problem reporting anyone who abuses this system. There are people who are really seeking answers and if u want to play might I suggest you go to the park. Name calling and smarting off at the mouth WILL get u reported. If you have no respect for yourself, at least learn to respect others....

He told you that the colured shirt was $1 extra,
At that point you had a choice - buy it at $1 extra or not buy it
The choice was yours, -whats illegal about that?

Same for the debit card. - nobody forces you to use the debit card. you are told it will cost extra
The choice whether to use it or not is up to you.
You dont like to pay extra? - then pay by cash.

NOBODY is ripping you off
You are told that certain things will cost you extra. At all times the decision whether to proceed is yours.
Dont like it ? - then go somewhere else. Thats the right of every US citizen.

Just as its the right to set the price for everything it sells, or every service it offers.

YOU are claiming its the right of the purchaser to set the price the shop sells at, not the shop.

Dont be stupid.

It's not illegal to charge more for a color shirt, or a shirt with a logo, or a shirt with one one sleeve, or a shirt that's stained, or anything else for that matter. They told you that it would cost more, you just didn't read it.

The age of the person who will wear the shirt is SO irrelevant. It has to do with the size of the shirt, and a 15 year old girl is certainly capable of wearing adult sizes, and is probably close to full grown anyway.
