Why Is Oprah Winfrey Considered to be Racist by Many People?

Recently when Gabby won the gold medal, Oprah and other celebrities tweeted her congrats.  When that was mentioned in an article I was reading, I noticed that one of the comments said Oprah was racist and it had 1,000 thumbs up.  I couldn't believe it.  Do that many people view her that way?

It shocked me because she has a large, majority white, audience. She honestly never struck me to be that way.  She has also launched the careers of Dr. Phil and Rachael Ray, both white.  Many of her guests are also white.

Why would people feel that way?  Do you feel their views are valid?  Thoughts and opinions.

It is not a surprise to see white people making such false claim of racism whenever a Black person acknowledges someone of the same racial background. It's quite hypocritical to call a black person a racist, while agreeing to such vitriol because of their racial alliance to each other, which is in fact is racist. To be race conscious in America for black folks is not uncommon. Do I understand the logic behind whites making such false claim? No! But I have notice, they rarely show any form of logic and reasoning for making such inane comments about black folks in general.
