F5 to refresh? New computer! (And "bigger than" & "less than")?

I just got a new computer, a Compaq, and I have also decided to "make the switch" from Firefox to Chrome... So there are a few changes I need to get used to! One thing, though, is that F5 doesn't seem to refresh, it opens a new page instead. How can I make it refresh instead? Do I need to set it as a short-cut, or is there another key for that?

And bonus question, dunno if anyone can answer. I bought the computer while in the US, but I live in Denmark and have therefore set the keyboard to Danish, as we have more letters in our alphabet.. I am not bothered that the print on the keys doesn't match as I type without looking anyway, but I cannot find the "less than" and "bigger than" key! Normally on Danish key boards, they are to the left of Z, but there is no symbol key there on this one. And on the keys where it is printed, I have ;, and :. Is there a way that I can get the computer to show me what is behind all the keys? 2 computers ago, I also had an American computer, and I just never figured it out :(

Hey Dick, I was on Y!A anyways, and since I had a few questions, I figured I'd just group them together. If you notice, I actually had 2 questions regarding refreshing (the other being, can I force it to refresh on F5). And it is not really that big of a task to ask a question.

Okay, I have a Compaq too, and I also use Chrome. F5 on Windows 7 computers takes you to your homepage. There is no problem with the computer, It is supposed to do that.

OMG f5 no refresh, better make a yahoo answer page rather than look at the list of keyboard shortcuts for chrome.

Press com+r or ctrl+r to refresh pages.
