Do you think that Matt Hardy should have been given a brief WWE Championship run in 2005?
After Vince brought back Matt Hardy in 2005, claiming that it was "good for business", Matt seemed to be on fire that year in terms of popularity. I thought the V1 gimmick was great as well. The fans were really behind him, and I feel that he was at the prime of his WWE career at that current time. With that said, do you feel that it would have been a good idea for WWE to give him a brief run with the title that year? Please explain why or not.

I think he SHOULD have and btw that other guy who mentioned Jeff Hardy.........he asked about Matt Hardy not Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy would have been a great WWE Champion if WWE grew some more brains and gave him a shot. Heel or Face Matt Hardy was great!
To be perfectly honest, Matt wasn't (still isn't) quite the star the Jeff Hardy is. I wasn't really expecting Jeff to win the heavyweight title and be the face of the WWE, but between those two, Jeff was more athletic, more exciting and more of a risk-taker. He pretty much made the most of his character and his storyline. With Matt, the angle he had with Lita & Edge was the highlight of his career cause his run as the cruiserweight champion wasn't much to watch and even then, the Lita/Edge/Matt angle didn't last long. Eventhough, Matt got the crowd behind him pretty good, he still didn't bring out the full potential in his character, thus never putting himself in the position to be the face of the WWE.

No. First off I don't like him at all. He is annoying and strives for attention more then Kathy Griffin. Hence his fake suicide hoax months ago. Yeah the V1 gimmick was great... #ShannonMoore is better.
