Can i play xbox 360 games online from a usb?

I know that you can purchase games from xbox marketplace for like 20$ and save it on a usb  but is there any way that I can get xbox 360 games for free,save it on a usb and then play online cause if I burn them into a disk I can't play online but is it possible to play online from a usb?

Currently this is not possible, it would involve soft-modding you 360, which is currently impossible due to the security that XBox has on their system. People have tried to create these soft-mod's and though they work temporarily, as soon as Microsoft releases a new update for the XBox 360, it wipes any sort of modding that was present. And if you think "well, I just won't update my 360 then", this would work, but you won't be able to play anything online, since the system requires the most recent game, and system updates in order to do anything online.


note: Burning games onto other discs like you are talking about is illegal, even if you paid for the download of it, because you would be creating a duplicate of the game.

No not through a USB. In order to play online you need internet access. Either through the WiFi OR Ethernet Cable, the one that you connect your internet box to your computer's CPU

There is ways to run pirated games but you would need a jtagged Xbox to play them online
