let us see who is the geometry champ here?
A circle has diameter AD of length 400. B and C are points on the same arc of AD such that |AB|=|BC|=60. What is the length |CD|?

Here is how to solve it. You know that C = pi*d which is 400pi. However we are dealing with a semicircle here because B and C are on the same arc and if you draw it out you will see why we are dealing with a semicircle. Thus, C of semicircle is simply divided by 2 to get 200pi. Since we know AB and BC and we need to find CD we simply set 200pi equal to 60+60+x or mathematically 200pi = 120+x and solve for x, which is 200pi - 120 or around 508.3185
