I became a top contributer in Yahoo Answers, then it disappeared. What happened?

The TC designation is dynamic and can be removed if your percentage of BA and answers in a category drops below the Yahoo requirement. If that happens spend a little more time in that category answering questions and quite possibly you will regain the designation.

If you don't continue to answer in that category and get best answers, the top contributor badge disappears.

If you charge to another subject other than the one you are a top contributor in it will do that.
