Im getting my Helix pierced any advice?

im getting the middle to top part of my ear pierced maybe tomorrow but if not that then soon. Im really excited but im finding different answers to my questions. Anything you could tell me would be awesome and very nice. I would like to know
1. how often to clean it
2.should i get a hoop or a stud
3. i have pain tolerence but about how much does it hurt
4. about how much does it cost in New York
5. and anything else you can tell me thank you so much

1) Clean it twice a day (morning and night)
2) Ask about getting pierced and getting a hoop directly, and choose this option of possible. It makes cleaning much easier
3) I didnt even believe the needle was through when i got mine done! :D
4) ?sorry, not sure. I would guess about 40 dollars
5) Make sure not to snag the piercing on clothes and similar items when its healing, and try to get it pierced on the opposite side you sleep on! Good luck! <3
