I really actually think its good for you to let your therapist know that you cut yourself. I used to cut myself and I was afraid that if I told anyone that they would lock me up in a mental hospital but my therapist was actually really helpful and understanding when I told her. They will probably ask you how long you've done it for, what you use, where you do it. Then in therapy you and your therapist will work on finding different coping skills that you can gradually use to substitute for cutting yourself to try and limit your cutting and eventually get you to the point where you can stop all together. Your therapist is there to help you and she/he can't help you completely if they don't know your whole story.
Beyond the Limits
Well,
If you alaready have a therapist that means you are already under therapy for some sort of condition. Thus, if you trust him as a therapist and have a pretty confiident relationshio with him, then he should be pretty familiar with your medical history, including your mental history (of course). As a result, he should be pretty familiar of what you are capalble of doing , or not doing, due to your conditon. Also, keep in mind that he IS a THERAPIST after all... with the profession he has and as a doctor expert can you imagine what he has NOT seen and heard of?? Do not worry about being embarassed with him or making him think you are 'crazy' or scare him at all. If this is a serious problem for you, then he WILL help you. This is why he is there for after all. He has training in his speacility and thus is prepared to see ANYTHING on his training of expertise. On the other hand, if you are intentionally cutting yourself to gather attention (as this is a type of pyschological condition), then you should rather focused on yourself insetad of the therapist. Ask yourself: What I am going to gain from getting my therapist's attention? Is it going to make me feel better?? This should rather be an internal question, as it should be any question that may arise during therapuatic and healing process.

He might reccomend you be admited into a mental health hospital, volunteerly to be obsereved for your own safety.
It has to volunteerly though, unless he thinks your definitely gonna commit suicide

She can call your mom if you are under 18 but if you do it all the time it won't be anything new to her so she will just talk to you about it!

Nothing. But they will try to help you through it. If you're wanting to stop, they'll help. If not, then they can't do anything. They can't tell your parents, unless your life is in danger.
