GFIC replacing a old gfic circuit breaker, Syvania brand?

I have an old panel which had two gfi circuit breakers. One circuit is for the baths, I replace the first one on the string however the circuit in the kitchen was odd, it has one hot line feeding two outlets next to it using one nuetral and next to this outlet was the garbage disposal circuit.
Note: GFIC breakers are no longer availiable for the Syvania brand panel.
How can I make this circuit a gfic?

I have a 40 yr old panel I just bought a GFIC breaker for online. Check the panel and on the inside it should give you the recommended models that work with that panel then check online.

If you have a standard breaker then just install a GFIC outlet which you can buy at any hardware store. They are a bit expensive and you cannot install a GFIC outlet with a GFIC breaker it doesn't work! I wanted to upgrade my outlets to new code not realizing the breaker was GFIC and they didn't work...after researching I found out it was because the breaker was GFIC!

replace the gfic breakers in the box with standard breakers. install a gfic outlet inline with the circuct you need to protect. it should protect everything that is running off that circuct. i'n not sure if i understand about the disposal unit but the wires running from a switch to an appliance or light are'nt neccessily the correct colors. you have to test which wire is live or neutral.

Take the dead breaker with you to an electrical supply house. Some brands are interchangeable with others but they all work pretty much the same; a compatible breaker from another manufacturer should work in your panel regardless.

If you can't find a GFCI breaker to fit your panel, then just install a conventional breaker that does fit, and install a GFCI outlet as the first in the string of outlets you want to protect. A GFCI outlet will protect other outlets downstream, if they're on the same hot wire.

Sylvania panels are modeled after GE, Crouse-Hinds, Challenger, Westinghouse.
