Of course he isn't. The people who keep telling you he is are liars who have been lying to you.

Anyone who isn't a complete moron can see that Obama is not a communist.

No. Obama is not a Communist at least not that we can judge by his policies, statements or writings. He is more socialist than most presidents we have had in recent history. You are hearing talking points. Communist is a word that presses peoples buttons. It is like calling him a criminal or a child molester. The word itself generates hate with many people. We have a mixed economy. We are not even close to pure capitalist. We have socialist parts of our economy and domestic policy. We have for decades. Obama is blatantly more socialist than many people are comfortable with and he has some serious issues with civil liberties. That is not a good combination.

But, he is NOT a communist. Don't be manipulated by rhetoric.
It must be said though, Stalin was not a communist either if you really want to be technical. Communist is a very misunderstood word.

1. No he's not a Communist

2. Communism is greatly misunderstood. Here's the definition:

classless political system: the political theory or system in which all property and wealth is owned in a classless society by all the members of that society. You don't lose any rights, you have the same amount as everyone else. As apposed to what we have today that the rich seem to have an unlimited supply of "Get out of Jail Free" cards.

Communism dictates the abolition of all private ownership of land, property, resources and industry.

President Obama has never attempted to introduce a single policy to bring any one of these about, so how can he be a communist??

You need to do some homework, Grasshopper. Like many home-schooled biblical-literalist right-wing psycho-pseudo-"Christian" extremists in control of the GOP, you appear to be confused about the definition of "communist," which I assume you are erroneously equating with the concept of "socialism" even though these are not the same thing.

The United States is a representative democracy, meaning that we, the people, choose our representatives who are then supposed to serve in public office at local, state, and federal levels to represent our needs and interests in the context of doing what is right for the nation. The U.S. is now and has always been a yin-yang balance between socialism (owned by the people) and capitalism, and we prosper best when this vital balance is preserved.

President Obama is not even close to being a communist, so you might want to re-think your blind parroting of whatever source you have been using. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act plus its supplemental Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (a.k.a., "Obamacare") is not even close to being a "government takeover" because the 1300 FOR-PROFIT (capitalist) insurance companies are still in existence and are still "for-profit," but now they also have some consumer-protecting rules in place to prevent them from reverting back to GREED and CRUELTY (see whitehouse.gov to read the new health care and insurance reforms). Socialism balances the greed of capitalism and capitalism balances the stagnation potential for socialism.

We still have a three-branch system of governance; we still have our Constitution in place; we still have capitalism that is now (thanks to the Obama administration and the Democrats) behaving less greedy and far more fair towards the American people (re-regulation, new oversights to prevent abuses). One example of President Obama's political bravery on behalf of the American people is the Credit CARD Act of 2009, where he summoned all of the greedy-gut CEOs of credit card companies to the White House and hammered out a deal that halted these companies' use of predatory fees ($39 overage fee; $29 late fee; etc.) and their shady billing practices, and each company now has to post how much interest is saved by consumers if they pay even $5 more than the minimum amount. This one new law (out of the MANY consumer-protecting and nation-saving new laws from the Obama team and Democrats) will save the American consumers millions of dollars over time, giving them more spending money---and consumer spending helps GROW the GOP-shrunken economy. How is that "losing your freedom"? You are backing the wrong...er...elephant here.
