I'm having folks for dinner next week and am making baked shrimp with tomatos and need some ideas for a couple of sides. The dish has onion, dill, fresh tomatos, prawns, and feta and is delicious! I've had it with french bread and salad, but I'm wondering if I should include some pasta, such as angel hair, or something else. Help!

LEMON ANGEL HAIR PASTA= HEAT OLIVE OIL IN PAN WITH GARLIC, ADD JUICE OF 1 LEMON AND LEMON RIND - WHEN DONE ADD BUTTER UNTIL MELTED AND TOSS WITH PASTA. YOU CAN ADD FINLEY CHOPPED BASIL OR MINT - LOVELY MILD FLAVOR TO COMPLIMENT YOUR SHRIMP DISH.
IF NOT A SALAD - MAYBE FRESH ASPARAGUS OR BRUSSEL SPROUTS (LIGHTLY COATED WITH OLIVE OIL, SALT,PEPPER AND OVEN ROAST.
If you want to go with a richer side, a good risotto would be delicious, either a traditional risotto milanese, or maybe and herbed risotto with mushrooms, incorporating some dill and maybe a bit of tarragon. Along with that I would probably also serve a small salad as a garnish, baby arugula with citrus/olive oil vinaigrette would add some nice contrast in texture and acidity. Depending on the risotto, if you go with a milanese you could herb the vinaigrette, or even work the feta into the salad instead of directly into the main dish.
onion rice: - 4 cups rice - 3 cups water - 1/2 cup oil - 5 tbsp onion soup mix boil water. add onion soup mix & oil. add rice. cover & let cook. fluff with fork & recover to let simmer.
stringbeans & mushrooms: - stringbeans - mushrooms - 2 cloves garlic - 1/4 cup oil - 1/2 cup soy sauce - 1/2 cup honey cook string beans. strain. sautee mushrooms & garlic. add oil, honey & soy sauce. let simmer. pour over string beans.
noodle mushroom dish: - 1 onion - 2 cloves garlic - 1 box mushrooms - 1 box of noodles (any shape & size you want) sautee onion, garlic, & mushrooms in same pot until cooked. cook noodles in separate pot. strain noodles & put into pot with veggies. mix so noodles soak up all the flavors.
beef noodle dish: - 1 onion - 2 cloves garlic - beef cut into cubes or slices - 1 box of noodles (any shape & size you want) sautee onion, garlic, & beef chunks in same pot until cooked. cook noodles in separate pot. strain noodles & put into pot with veggies & beef. mix so noodles soak up all the flavors.
cold strawberry soup: - 1 bag frozen strawberries/1 box fresh strawberries - 1/2 cup orange juice - 1/2 cup honey - 2 tbsp cream/whole milk - 4 tbsp sugar put all ingredients in a bowl & use an immersion blender OR put in food processor or blender. Blend/puree until creamy & smooth. put in container. put in fridge until ready to serve.
