Would you define college as work or leisure?

I have a class where we are supposed to define things as work or leisure and I was wondering where college would fit.

Here is my opinion though:
College is leisure because you have to work to pay for college and you attend college on your spare time (known as leisure) when you are not working

There is also the fact that college is not a requirement, but a personal choice, which tends to put it more on the liesure side

Agree? Disagree? other opinions

Most people define scholastic mental exertion as "work" weather is is done under duress or is enjoyed. School work, home work. If it is extracurricular it is usually practice or rehearsal. Leisure is usually little or no mental or physical exertion.
