Need help with a response back to boss?

Hi folks,

I work as a help desk employee at regional community colleges, so I am connected to my boss and other techs only by internet.

I got a really nice boss, and he loves to check up with me on an IM system about how i am doing and how the facility that I am currently at doing. The campus I am at is always doing just great, so that is what I type in, "it is good" or "great". But he always one up me by over exaggerating how how things are going on his end. For instance, this morning he replied that "things are fantabulous, the air is crisp and filled with the joy of the worker bees!"

I want to one up him, but i need help with this "play on words". Can anyone help me get started with a reply back to my boss on how wonderful my campus is doing? I will help you get started.

Things here are factually first-rate, four-star fabulous.

If you want to get playful with the dictionary, change it to this -

Rule number one in business: Never upstage your boss. The most you can do is use something he already said, and make a play on that. For example, if he said "...the air is crisp, and filled with the joy of the worker bees," you can reply "The worker bees are really buzzing and all is well." He'll be flattered that you followed his lead. Being more clever than he should not be your goal.

After reading your question and seeing all the mistakes that you've made, perhaps you'd be better off by NOT trying to outdo the boss and just keep your replies simple.
