I wouldn't say he's overrated but still he doesn't deserve 14 mil a year, he barely brought any success to the Hawks franchise. He could improve his jumpshot but his defense is some of the best in the league.

Teams that may be willing to give him that salary:
- Hawks
- Wizards
- Spurs
- Lakers (if they lose one of their big stars)
- Suns
- Rockets
- Magics

How is he overrated. Sure, he does take some bad shots on offense, but you can't help the fact that he's trying to be aggressive and score. Tell you what, he is one of the best defenders in the league, he is one of the very few players that can get you steals and blocks. He is also one of the best passing big men in the game, a part of his game where he is very UNDERrated. In transition, he gets it done there, as he is one of the best dunkers in the league. I don't get how he is overrated. He is certainly underrated and under appreciated for all the things he does. A real shame he hasn't even made one All Star Team he certainly has played at that level. If the Lakers pay Pau Gasol nearly 20 Million why can't J-Smoove get 14 Million? Lots of teams would pay for that because he is a very good all around player.

I don't consider him overrated because he is a good athletic talent.
14 mil is a little high but he could be worth it. And nowadays, almost everyone is overpaid.
Teams that need him could be:
Lakers if Dwight walks
Sixers if Bynum walks
Hawks probably will (unless they want to go in a different direction)
Suns maybe. But I think they'll try and go after harden.
Magic would probably pay him.
He'd be a great fit for Cleveland IMO.

He is a game changing defender, a great rebounder, makes some good passes and a solid scorer. Tyson Chandler is getting 14 mil a year based off of his defense. Josh Smith is equally as good of a defender, and a better offensive player.

He's not overrated. I think he deserves the respect he recieves. I don't think he's a all star, but he is a very decent player. He's still young only at 26 years old and at his height 6'9 he averages a good amount of blocks. Possibly one of the best shot blockers in the game. He needs to improve his perimeter shots. He only shoots about 25 % at the three point line. Other then that, I wouldn't mind him as a player on my squad.
