Can I just replace my Ps3 hard drive with another one? (read details please)?

So heres the thing.
I would like to buy a new ps3 because my old one is broken.
So if I replace the hard drive of the new ps3 with the hard drive of my old ps3 will it read and find my gamedata from my previous ps3??

No it won't, but you could use it as an external HD on your new ps3 to get the game saves back.

No. If you use your old hard drive on the new PS3, ALL data will be deleted.
