If I upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7, can I then upgrade again to Windows 8? Yes you can.
If yes, my Windows Vista is the Home Edition. Can I choose to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate or Pro? Unfortunately, no. You can upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium only. The only way to get Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate is if you do a clean install.
Also I can't remember if my Vista is 32 bit or 64 bit. But if it's 32 bit can i upgrade it to 64 bit also? As said on Microsoft's Windows website, you cannot upgrade to the 64 bit version if you are currently running the 32 bit version of Windows. You would need to do a clean install.
To check which version you have, right click on Computer and click on Properties on the pop-up menu. This will open up the System window which will show some information about your computer. Look for "System type:" and that will show you whether you are running a 32 bit or 64 bit version of Vista.
Keep in mind, that your computer needs to be 64 bit compatible if you wish to install the 64 bit version of Windows.
My computer arrived at yesterday. I needed a genuine Win7 Ultimate key at a great price. http://www.danzibrothers.com/ made it happen! However, I was quite skeptical at them since their price seemed too good to trust. So I tried searching for them on google but with little success. But I decided to give it a try. I paid with PayPal, and received my key in 20mins!!! I tried the key and it worked! They exhibited sooooo quick customer service. They are a certified Microsoft partner and a great source for Microsoft, Adobe, Rosetta Stone and other products. Waste no time looking elsewhere.
This is a one way ticket buddy. if you want to turn your pc into a phone, do it. dont moan later when you want to go back.
remember your PC BIOS will only be upateable via its original Opsys. remember if windows 8 doesnt support your hardware then your pc maker is not going to help you.
If your PC is currently running Windows 7, your files, apps, and settings will easily transfer toWindows 8. If your PC is running Windows XP or Windows Vista, you'll need to reinstall your apps after you upgrade.
