I eat a lot of white rice and noodles with healthy sides. Will I gain weight?

For meals, I know that pasta and white rice isn't that good but that's all my mom cooks and I always eat it with lots of veggies and tofu and shrimp and fish and some meat sometimes. I also always have fruit as dessert. Is this still considered healthy and will keep me slim/lean and healthy?

compute your daily calories, loosing weight below 1000 carbs, maintain 2000 carbs, gain weight above 2000 carbs per day, as i know 1cup of rice is equivalent to 300 to 500 carbs

if you are active and don't sit around all day i think you'll be fine :) but, switching to wholewheat/multigrain pasta's and rice would benefit you much more...
