For some reason my FIFA 12 game on my PS3 started freezing every few seconds when I play it. I thought that I scratched it or something b/c my FIFA 11 is fine. I just bought FIFA 13 and it's freezing also like my FIFA 12. I will play a scrimmage against my brother. Game freeze for a split second, then continue. In a few seconds, it freezes for a split second again and then it continue, repeat. It really frustrates me b/c sometimes I will press "pass" when it freezes, and when it unfreeze the player doesn't make the pass so I have to press "pass" again. Is it something about my PS3 or something? All the other games I player works just fine.

Have you got any other newer games like Assassins Creed 3, Black Ops 2 etc... ? Do any of those freeze on you as well ?
I haven't got Fifa 13 yet because i heard it has freezing issues on the PS3. I have bought Assassins Creed 3, Resident Evil 6, Black Ops 2, Madden 13 and Hitman Absolution since their release dates and all of them have nothing but freezing problems. But the older version games work fine me as does yours by the sounds of it.
It may be something to do with the model of PS3 you have, i have a fat 160gb and have been told that the fat PS3's are struggling with the new games. Wish i could give you a more definitive answer but there is bugger all answers that i can find online.
Best bet is to get rid of the PS3 and get a 360 because they have been having less problems than us PS3 users.
