Jehovah's Witnesses are very confused (due to their teaching sources) of who and what Jesus is. Although Moses, angeles, and men are called "god(s)," Jesus is that part of the Godhead (Gen. 1:26. Rev. 1:8) that is worthy of WORSHIP~by the Angeles (Heb. 1:6) his disciples (Matt.28:9) and all of creation (Rev.5:12,13) This was not given to Moses.

Many older JW's may remember that at one time, it was acceptable to worship Jesus, before Judge Rutherford changed the teaching after he took over the movement. He was said to be an alcoholic. How many Witnesses have checked the qualifications for Christian leadership according to 1Tim. 3:3-5? NO drunkard is qualified to issue Christian doctrine when they are given to "wine;" filthy lucre; (living in a mansion at the expense of WT funds); and owning an expensive car (covetous) V3.

Thus the definition of following false teachers. Yet, within the movement, the way of truth, is evil spoken of: (or called pagan ~2Pet. 1,2)

Who then is Jesus? He is that part of the Godhead who became flesh a dwelt amongst us. His name is above every name (Phil. 2:9) every knee will bow to Christ (2:10) and calling on his name, prayer to him alone, is the only name given under heaven, whereby we must be saved: Acts 4:11,12.

Time to leave the wine bidder and come to Christ....

Are you saved today?

God bless.

Jesus is Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace, Isaiah 9:6. But Jesus is not Jehovah, God Almighty.

Their Governing Body of Jehovhas Witnesses have given contradicting ideas as to who is Almighty God and therefore confuse their members. See below:

Revelation Climax p.316, 319 Ch.44 Revelation and You

6 Jehovah, the King of eternity, now addresses readers of Revelation for the last time in the prophecy, saying: "Look! I am coming quickly, and the reward I give is with me, to render to each one as his work is. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Happy are those who wash their robes, that the authority to go to the trees of life may be theirs and that they may gain entrance into the city by its gates. Outside are the dogs and those who practice spiritism and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone liking and carrying on a lie."—Revelation 22:12-15.
[...]
15 Jesus now adds a final word of encouragement: "He that bears witness of these things says, 'Yes; I am coming quickly.'" (Revelation 22:20a) Jesus is "the faithful and true witness." (Revelation 3:14) If he bears witness to the visions of Revelation, they must be true. Both he and Jehovah God himself repeatedly stress the fact that they are coming "quickly," or soon, Jesus here saying that for the fifth time. (Revelation 2:16; 3:11; 22:7, 12, 20) The "coming" is to execute judgment on the great harlot, the political "kings" and all others who oppose "the kingdom of our Lord [Jehovah] and of his Christ."—Revelation 11:15; 16:14, 16; 17:1, 12-14.

Note they use Revelation 22: 12 for Both Jesus and Jehovah as "coming" and Alpha and Omega.

To MARIAH: If you're going to speak about Jehovah's Witnesses, as a minimum have your info straight. We're most certainly not a cult. & we Do acknowledge that devil the devil may be very so much real. He's the god of this approach of matters. When persons worship some thing it turns into a god, whether or not that's devil, Jesus, britney spears, a necklace or a shoe. Nonetheless, it on no account makes it/them the genuine God. That's handiest Jehovah. Also, Jesus Christ is the son of Jehovah, the real and almighty God. That is will have to be obvious should you read the bible! *Please don't mistake my tone as being disrespectful, it is not not imply't that means at all, i'm conveniently mentioning the information.

Your point of criticism of them is trivial. Both forms would be correct and still would not contradict their belief that Jesus is not almighty God. Your trivial word game could also be applied to other titles given to Jesus. Is he 'a Wonderful Counselor' or 'the Wonderful Counselor'; 'a Prince of Peace' or 'The Prince of Peace'. Because these are all titles supposedly given to Jesus alone, you could rightly prefix them with the definite article, the, without forcing the conclusion that he is God. Jesus is supposedly the only one that has been confered with the title 'Mighty God' so given his unique position he can rightly be referred to definitively as 'The Mighty God' without meaning he is equal to almighty God. Please note that their own translation of the Bible accepts the fact that both Jehovah and Jesus are called 'The Lord', but that fact does not force the conclusion that they are the same person or that they are equal.
