Will employers not want to hire me if I've went to a mental hospital in the past?

I'm a college student double majoring in English and French, hoping to go into editing for a publishing company.
I've went to counselling to try to work through my issues and I have made a lot of progress with them. If I've willingly checked myself into a mental hospital for depression and anxiety, will that affect my future in the workforce?

There is no reason for an employer to ask if you have ever been hospitalized.

Not for physical or mental reasons.

There is no way for them to find out, unless you tell them or someone that works there.

No employer will ever know you have been in a psychiatric hospital unless you tell them. if you did tell them, they are not allowed to discriminate but you have to prove to them that you are fit for work.

I don't think it is because everybody has problems and who really cares what happened it the past they should not judge you because of that and if they do you should not work with them anyway:)
