how to clean a comforter without a washer?

I don't know what happened or what got on it, but it smells horribly.
I'm afraid to wash it though because it's very delicate (it's one of those ones that has gatherings on it like ruching) and I have a feeling that the inside of it will just gather all up in one spot... it already sorta is doing that on it's own (but not that bad).

Thanks for the tips.

Take it to a dry cleaner. It may cost about $25 to $35 to clean it but it will be worth it

If your dryer is big enough you could use Febreze or Dryel on it.

You could take it to the laundromat they have HUGE washers and dryers

You could take it to a professional Dry cleaners; that's' what I do with mine. But if you do this smell it before you leave to make sure it is fresh.
