I picked supply with airborne option?

90% chance I was stationed in Bragg, ask if you can pick your first duty station as well as the Airborne option. If you can choose then pick Italy, I have been to Bragg one time to inspect my unit's new humvees before they got put on the train north. SSillyhuh, putting a medic on a inspection team but there were 10 of us going and one had to be a medic. I thought overall Bragg was a great place but I hated the 82nd guys their saw our unit patches and I can not count the amount of times I had to explain where we were from and why we thought we were Airborne. You are going the supply route which means you are going the fobbit route, if you deploy you should never leave the FOB and probably work 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. There are Airborne units in Germany and none that I know of in Korea, so if you want to ask about first duty station choice to go along with your Airborne option and ask for Italy or Germany both are fantastic spots.

I should explain Bragg it is a huge base and the town outside the base is there because of the base. If you want to see the world go else where, it is close to home but how many times can you say that you live in another country?...Show more

if you have airborne option you will definatly be going to bragg its not a bad place its pretty big and its got plenty to do in the surrounding area. ad far as deployment it all depends on the unit you get attached to. if you wanted korea and germany you should have gone military police 31B my graduating class sent 2 to germany and 1 to korea...Show more
