Frigidaire FRS3HR5JB3 Side by Side, Freezer works Fine Fridge is very Warm?

This unit is only 3.5 years old and recently the fridge has gotten very warm although the freezer is cold as ice. I cleaned the coils of the condenser from the front and rear of the fridge, clean all dust from underneath and made sure fan was turning and there is no ice buildup anywhere. everything looks and works fine except there is very little air flow coming into the fridge through the little vent on the upper left side of the fridge. what else could be wrong.

you have a air flow problem. if the freezer is working then its the air flow. most of the time when it defrost some of the water will drip into the air flow holes and plug them off. this is where you get your cold air from.if you can put your stuff in a cooler for a day, turn off your unit a let set with the doors open and let warm up all day, then start it up again. i know this well take a while but it is safer for you and the unit. it is hard to tell people where these holes are so this is the best way.

you have covered many possibilities in your question .is the outside of the unit warm on top ?if so the defrost timer could be hung up .are you sure there is no ice blocking the air flow ?i work on ge units and was told by clicking the light switch 3 times rapidly it would reset the defrost timer haven't tried it yet .you can google frigidaire and look for owners manuals and put your model number in and see if any trouble shooting comes up to your reference. gl
