47lg50 LCD TV, just picked this up at a sale.
About an hour ago, it would boot up and you could see the LG symbol pop up in a lit box on the left side of the screen. Vertical lines would appear over that and across the screen, then faded out to nothing. No menu, no nothing. PCB looks good, and sound works fine. No flash codes.

You need to take the LG TV back to the store immediately within this week. Ask them to check it and see what's wrong. Oftentimes, there are some defects in a particular set which is unavoidable. If this is the case with this TV then you will get a new one.
