Why do people always complain about how they like "old music" better?
I'm pretty sure when that old music was NEW, it wasn't anything better. I mean sure, there are a lot of autotuned artists nowadays, but there are also thousands of amazing ones too. And I'm pretty sure a lot of this "old music" sucked just as much. (obviously much of this old music was good too). It's just kind of annoying, and I'm sure that in 10-20 years from now, we'll be complaining about how this music is much better than future music.. sorry if i confused you it's almost 3am

how can u be sure if you havent even heard it b4? arent you forgetting, everyone is different? Some people who are knocking on a bit will have grown up with old music and thats why they like it more. I am young but I actually like older music than the s*** there is now.
I hate my averages is kinda right, I think Rihanna and all that are s*** singers. I dont like the music either i just dont feel it like i feel old music. I like madonna, enya, shania twain, bon jovi.
Old music was real. It was people trying to sing beautiful songs to make themselves and others happy. Old music was deep, yet simple. It was pure. Today's music is popped out because record companies and artists alike want to make millions. It consists of lines that don't actually make that much sense when broken down, and it is fake. Obviously there are many exceptions to this, and that is why such generalizations probably shouldn't be made, but I do think that the majority of older music has a better quality than today's music. Have a good night! Lbee
Like what Don't Worry About it said. They most likely doing it to just bash the current generation. Or they're completely ignorant of what's out there. I mean, the people that answered saying today's music sucks only seem to know who's on the top 10 billboard list.
It's not that we're complaining about the music, it's that we're complaining about the music that the RIAA allows to be released.
If you're associated with the RIAA's list of recording labels...you're limited to what they think will generate them money. And if they think that we all like autotuned pablum...then that's what they're going to allow to be released.
This is why I like and support independent artists who have their own labels or just release through indie song hosting sites.
It's all these damn hipsters and hipster who are in Denial of being hipsters. Unless you were there in the 80's, 70's when that music was coming out, do they have a reason to complain.. Other than that 17 year olds complaining are annoying as fck
