It's not unusual for guinea pigs to be active at night. However, they also will often adjust to your schedule. I suggest you feed him his veggies and pellets in the morning so that he does most of his noisy eating during the day. You may want to try an evening playtime to see if it tires him out a little. Sometimes a cage cover, such as a sheet or towel, may help him quiet down and realize it is time to sleep but be careful because he will chew any fabric that he can reach.
Again, it's normal for guinea pigs to make noise at night, so you may just need to move his cage farther away from your bedroom if he is keeping you awake.
