Xbox cannot connect to my wireless network?

Just as the tittle says. The error message I get is that I'm using the wrong password however everything else can connect using the same password and I've even connected my xbox to it ONCE. I can connect my xbox to my friends network no problem (he has Verizon and I've got Xfinity) Ive already power cycled everything and tried to using a static IP but still nothing. I'm lost on how to fix this. Any help is much appreciated.

The problem is that the Xbox only works for WEP encrypted WiFi. Yours is probably set to WPA. To change this you have to edit your wireless router settings. This is done in the same place where you edit the static IP. Just select the security or WiFi settings and change it to WEP instead of WPA.
