i got minecraft forge to help me with mods because i dont know anything i downloaded it but i dont know what to do with the file what do i do???

Once you download the forge onto your comp you need to open it with Winrar archiver or 7zip, then drag and drop all class files from forge into your Minectaft.Jar (also opened with Winrar/7zip)
