Panasonic SC-HT800V to Blu-Ray?
I have a Panasonic SC-HT800V home theater system which includes the 5-speaker surround sound. I am wondering if Panasonic currently has a Blu-Ray player with receiver such that it is comparable to the DVD/VCR combo currently included in the set so I can utilize the same speaker set up and sub-woofer - it has a specialized plug from the sub-woofer into the receiver. I am unable to find any information on Panasonic's website, so I am open to ideas. Thank you.
The price was right: free! It was from my father-in-law who didn't want it. I do tend to keep different components separate on my own, but I appreciate the feedback, and I wasn't going to turn down the free offer (it's been good to me so far - just looking to upgrade).
agb90spruce: I see. So by that solution, essentially I would be using my current set-up for audio while using my HDMI for video? I do understand that is less than ideal, but I have used a similar fix-around for a gaming system... I don't know why I didn't think to do it with a Blu-Ray player. Thanks!
