Could antibiotics cause my period to be late?

I was on clindamycin 3 times a day for 14 days. The last time i had sex was protected in early December. I got my period regularly for the month of December. I took clindamycin for two weeks of January until the time around my period. However, i am not on birth control, i have pcos, and i am dieting. So i was predisposed to having a late period this month anyway. I'm only 3 days late. Should i be concerned? i haven't had any symptoms of being pregnant and I've had my period since the last time I've had sex. I have also been under tons of stress and just recently started Gabapentin.

If you used a barrier method, I wouldn't worry. Antibiotics can interact with some hormonal birth controls. They would have no impact on the effectiveness of barrier methods. And personally as someone who has gotten periods for over two decades, I don't bother worrying until it's at least a week late, maybe two if I've been sick and on medication.

Illness and stress can both cause a delayed period. Stress on your body from the infection for which you were taking the clindamycin is the most likely culprit for your delayed period. By the way....three days late is hardly late. Don't look for something else to worry about.
