I got an old 8 bit nintendo from my brother but any controller i plug into socket 1 or 2 fits real loose, i even bought a dog bone style nes controller and same problem, how do i make the controller fight tightly into the nes?

If you have tried multiple controllers, then it is likely that that the controller port itself is damaged or bent out of shape. If their loose, but they still work, you could just be very careful not to pull it out during gameplay, or, with the help of a small amount of technical knowhow, you could replace it with this:
