There are six species of black bass and four subspecies of black bass. Can you name them? And better yet, can you tell us which of the 10 fish are the 6 and 4? Remember, this is for fun, so let's not take each other TOO seriously. I WILL pick the best answer and award the 10 points to the one of you who comes closest OR the one of you who comes up with the correct answer first. GOOD LUCK

A FINAL NOTE: The following black bass are listed in my reference source as being the species and subspecies for this fish. (in no particular order) Alabama Spotted Bass, Neosha Smallmouth Bass, Northern Smallmouth Bass, Wichita Spotted Bass, Northern Largemouth Bass, Florida Largemouth Bass, Northern Spotted Bass, Redeye Bass (Alabama River Form), Redeye Bass (Apalachicola Form), Suwannee Bass, and the Guadalupe Bass. For this question, my reference was the McClane's New Standard Fishing Encyclopedia where color plates showing each of these fish can be found on pages 129 through 133. Detailed descriptions and additional points of interest on black bass in general can be found there as well. If you don't have a copy of the encyclopedia, I HIGHLY recommend you find one. It truly IS without equal.
