Getting from Orlando to St.Pete or Clearwater Beach area without driving?

So I live in Orlando and have friends in St.Pete Beach area. I really want to find a inexpensive way to go see them without driving my car. I am SICK of the drive and would love to find a shuttle bus or some other way to go see them for the weekend. Amtrak goes to Tampa but I can't figure out a good way to get from Tampa to St.Pete easily. Anyone know of a shuttle or some way to get to anywhere on Pinellas County without me having to drive my car.

Busch Gardens/ Seaworld has a daily shuttle. Although Busch Gardens is in Tampa.

whilst we stayed in Tampa, we took the bus to Clearwater elementary. That makes me think of you may desire to get a bus from Orlando to Tampa after which to Clearwater. yet to try this for the period of a million day? i do no longer understand. stable success!
