I replaced the alternator in July 2012 and the battery less than a month later. Today, my car died as I was pulling into my driveway. It started right up again. It's the second time that has happened in five months, last time was back in November and it was the same thing--it died as I was turning into my driveway.

If it's a Ford, the charging system fuse is blown. You were driving off the battery and running it down. The battery and alternator were not bad. It's just that the charge from the alternator couldn't get to the battery. Replace that blown charging system fuse from a 5 amp to a 15 amp and don't buy any more parts that don;t need replacing.

Could be as simple as a dirty/fouled fuel filter, to a bad sensor or a fault in the cars computer module, I would get it to a mechanic and have it scoped to find the problem so you don't needlessly replace parts that are working fine.

VERY SIMPLE!$20 at the local oil change center will fix it for you! Have them REMOVE and CLEAN yoru idle air control valve (IAC< and clean yoru throttle boyd,too! the IAC adds AIR tot6 he inject4ed fuel and a dirty IAC will cause STALLING< loss of power and economy since the proper amount of added AIR is not achived! If you LOVE your car, then use MOIBL ONE 0W_30 oil ONLY IN IT! you will GAIN power adnd more economy (fuel mileage0 as it cleans the OLD OIL that caused your IAC to get dirty! YOu will SEE! Buy your OWN MOBIL ONE 0W-30 engine oil and filter and then take ANOTHER $20 to the oil change place to have it all CHANGED FOR YOU! You will thank me LATER as you get over 30 MPGSs for doing these simple things! BAD OIL corrupted your IAC vavle with sludge. It is an EASY and cheap fix GOOD LUCK!!

it could be fuel ! it could be that the fuel filter is collecting dirt overnight and slowing down the flow of fuel until the dirt gets washed away !
